Hybrid and electric vehicles

Sehr geehrte Kunden,

wir erhielten folgende Information von Grimaldi Antwerpen und Grimaldi Hamburg für Mild Hybrid, Hybrid und Elektrofahrzeugen, gültig ab dem 01.09.2024:

Please note that as from the 1st of September 2024 new rules will apply for USED OR PRIVATE NEW (mild) hybrid and USED OR PRIVATE NEW electric vehicles for shipments from Antwerp to GRIMALDI MED DESTINATIONS (ONLY) 

Used hybrid and electrical vehicles remain under same procedure as now, paying the control and certificate of 225 euro/unit

Only ! If the control and certificate is negative and some adjustments , like fe charging the low or high voltage battery is needed, an extra cost for re-control of the cars will apply ! 

Whereas this has been done for free until now, now the following costs will apply :

30 euro will be charged if only 1 problem/item needs to be re-checked fe only the low or only the high voltage battery

150 euro will be charged if a complete re-control (multiple items) needs to be done.

We can therefore only ask you once again to really insist with the clients to see that batteries are charged (see below) correctly, and the cars are fully complying with our cargo modalities (available upon request)

Low voltage battery

SOC – State of Charge (minimum 50%)

SOH – State of Health (if applicable, minimum 80%)

minimum 12V with non-running engine

High voltage battery

SOH – State of Health (if applicable, minimum 80%)

SOC – State of Charge (minimum 20% – max 50%)

For used mild hybrid units we need you to advise us UPON booking that the unit is a 100 % pure mild hybrid with a lithium battery with max 48V.

In this case no charges will be applied. 

A mild hybrid with a lithium battery above 48V will be handled as a hybrid or electric car (see above)

If your client cannot inform you about the battery, we can have this checked at the terminal à 40 euro/unit 

Random controls on the terminal will be done !!!!  If the battery is found higher, an extra charge of 1000 euro will be applied on top of the regular control costs of an electric/hybrid vehicle.

Please keep in mind this is all safety related so correct information is a necessity !!! 

+ 21 % VAT on costs above if applicable.

Das bedeutet:

Für jedes Hybrid oder Elektrofahrzeug wird wie bisher ein Zertifikat erstellt, das 225,- Euro kostet. 

Ist das Zertifikat positiv ist alles ok.

Ist das Zertifikat negativ kommen folgende Kosten hinzu:

Stimmt eine Sache nicht, eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von 30 Euro

Stimmen mehrere Sachen nicht, eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von 150 Euro 

Hinzukommen wie bisher auch die Kosten fürs Aufladen einer Batterie oder Entladen einer Batterie. 

Bei Mild Hybrid bitte vor Buchung darauf aufmerksam machen, dass es sich um ein Mild Hybrid Fahrzeug handelt.

Dann entstehen keine Extrakosten, sollte das Terminal ohne Vorankündigung ein Mild Hybrid Fahrzeug annehmen, 

kommen Bearbeitungskosten hinzu.
